Oasis/Arabic

Theme: Music

This design beams with the spirit of Oasis — quite literally. Set against a Manchester City blue background, a yellow sun, hand-drawn like something from a school notebook, lights up the corner. The word "Oasis" appears boldly in Arabic at the bottom, grounding the piece in a rich multicultural context, while "Live Forever" rises vertically in bright yellow, a hopeful call-to-living for anyone chasing meaning, a half-decent chorus and/or a good time. Look closely-well, not that closely because it's quite noticeable- and you’ll spot a playful bucket hat perched on the ‘R’ in “Forever,” a cheeky nod to Britpop swagger. And at the very bottom: "Madferit, habibi!" — a joyful mash-up of Mancunian obsession and Arabic affection. Maybe also a connection between Man City football club and its owners...know what I mean, like? The sun isn’t just a design motif. It’s in the music — sun, sunshine, shining on, sunny days — Oasis lyrics are drenched in light. It’s defiance through warmth wrapped in brightness. This piece celebrates that, and more. It's a cross-cultural reminder that the desire to shine, to be heard, to live forever, resonates far and wide.
