Theme: women
Sybil Disobedience flips the script on rebellion. Inspired by the sharp-tongued, unflappable Sybil Fawlty of classic TV comedy Fawlty Towers, the design casts her not just as a sitcom character, but as an unexpected punk icon — one who wields sarcasm like a weapon and rules with a raised eyebrow. While Basil Fawlty rages, schemes, and spirals into farce, Sybil is the eye of the storm — cool, controlled, and often two steps ahead. She doesn’t shout to be heard. She doesn’t need to. Her disobedience is subtle, strategic — and all the more powerful for it. The bold pink and yellow palette takes its cue from the Sex Pistols’ “Never Mind The...” era — loud, irreverent, unmistakably punk. It reframes Sybil not as a nagging wife (as she was often written), but as a woman calmly dismantling incompetence with a flick of her cigarette and a perfectly-timed “Basil!” This design plays with contrast — between chaos and control, performance and power, slapstick and strategy. It celebrates a different kind of rebellion: one that’s smart, stylish, and doesn’t break a sweat.
