1984 0H WELL isn’t just a design — it’s a cultural shrug in graphic form. The vinyl that doubles as a camera lens is a frightening thought in the age of technology that watches our every move. Oh well. Orwell warned us, and we responded by printing his fears on posters and tees. Big Brother became background noise. Surveillance became a vibe. Oh well. The phrase Oh well, at least it was a good year for music undercuts the dystopia with a wry smile. It's the kind of line you'd mutter while scrolling through chaos with headphones on, blasting 'Purple Rain' or Frankie Goes to Hollywood. The design doesn’t shout — it deadpans. It’s for the ones who see the world going off the rails but are too tired, too tuned in, or too tuned out to raise more than an eyebrow. Oh well. It’s a reminder that irony might be the only defence we have left. That saying oh well might be easier than facing how right Orwell was — but at least the music still hits. Big(Tech)Brother is watching you but don't worry because Frankie Says Relax!
