The design features three plectrums in red, white, and blue, a nod to Hendrix’s American roots and his transatlantic legacy — from Monterey to London. It also hints at the colours of cultural revolution, rebellion, and reinvention. Anchoring the piece is one of Hendrix’s most iconic lyrics: “’Scuse me while I kiss the sky.” It’s the perfect blend of surrealism and soul, dream and defiance.
